This out performs a few of the high end brow pencils out there that I have tried out. I surprised myself by actually liking this product! For $2.00, my expectations where low, but I shocked myself, because this is a brow product that I will definitely be repurchasing after I use this one up. Use a light hand and light strokes along with the spoolie, and you will be able to have natural looking brows with no harshness! This is perfect for sketching on eyebrows because the formula enables you to have the appearance of natural looking brows. This has a dry formula, yet it glides on so smoothly! This is not at all creamy, otherwise that would just be too messy for the brows. If this happened to a higher end product, I would have been a little more frustrated. I will have to mention that when I went to twist the product up to see how easy it is to twist, which it is, the above happened! For some reason, the product just slipped out of the hole! But, never fear, I was able to put it back in, and gently nudged the product in there to make sure it stayed in there! I have not had any more issues with this happening again. And everyone knows how much I despise any beauty pencil that needs to be sharpened, because I do not have patience nor time for that! I really like how this has a twist up packaging, because this makes it so convenient, once again, for when you take this traveling. You do not have to bring a separate spoolie tool to comb through your brows! Including this spoolie is so convenient for every day application, and even when traveling. I absolutely love how this eyebrow pencil has a spoolie at one end to comb the eyebrows or to brush the product through your brows after application for a more soft look. All of these companies say they support the LGBTQ+ community, with many providing major donations, therapy, protections, and housing to the underserved.I have been on the hunt for a holy grail affordable brow product. I’ve consulted with major brands to make great men’s makeup options available for perfecting our new normal. Generally, blur, spot, conceal, and go is my norm. But, just in case, we must have an artillery on hand. I always say flawless skin is the best makeup - and goal. On top of that, who can resist a lash enhancer, guyliner, or beefy brow? Or a matte cherry stain on the lips and cheeks?įactoring in the never-ending Zoom video meetings, FaceTime, and the increasing global fluidity of marketing ads, the boring conversation of people questioning men’s makeup has turned into, “He should have worn a gray-based eyeliner, that brown is too orange-y!” Finally, we’ve become comfortable with daily wear makeup. Others only present their full-on “Sasha Fierce” or “Studly Steven” faces for social media, without ever leaving the house.īut for most, makeup is to make perfect what is not: ruddy complexions, scars, dark under-eye circles, or the ever-maddening pimple. This means the industry can reach a wide variety of male consumers that use makeup - however they choose to apply it. In the last decade, makeup has come a long way in design, intention, and engineering. We’re talking straight, burly men with swords, mind you. That’s not even mentioning their shoes, which were stacked as high as their hair - both with ribbons and bows. Yet in the past, noblemen and other aristocrats not only wore makeup they layered on brightly colored blush and heavy powder. Makeup on men has been a touchy subject for centuries.
